Jackie Mucilli Malamud is most recently called Mom and she’s very proud of it.
She’s also called a freelance art director, known for disrupting the status quo in the beauty industry. Based in Brooklyn, she’s left her mark on a number of agencies throughout New York City including Big Spaceship, Huge, and Virtue Worldwide.
Jackie thrives in strategically-led environments. She specializes in conceptual ideation and developing creative with a 360° perspective. She brings her years of experience and passion for culture to those looking for a thoughtful yet nimble approach, delivering elevated art direction and imagery rooted in today’s trends.
Jackie has led campaigns for Estee Lauder and was the lead art director on the Urban Decay rebrand, influencing the nine product campaigns to follow. One of her most fulfilling projects (Planned Parenthood) combined her passion for purposeful work and women’s health – receiving honorable mentions throughout the industry (1.4 Awards, AdForum, AdAge, GirlGaze).
While inclusive beauty is at the heart of Jackie’s work, her experience spans the gamut, having worked for select clients in retail (Target), technology (Samsung Global), sports/wellness (Dick’s Sporting Goods), automotive (Fiat-Chrysler), and alcohol (Anheuser-Busch).
Her love of fashion and all things lifestyle extends outside of her day-to-day where she volunteers her time as a producer for the bi-annual print magazine Tidal.
